A Tribute to Laurie Cabot
Many have asked us "What is the connection with Laurie Cabot & Crow Haven Corner...."
The answer is as complex as it is simple. Laurie Cabot is a mother figure to many witches worldwide, and to many right here in Salem, MA.
When Lorelie, owner of Crow Haven Corner, Inc., was a young girl, Laurie Cabot opened her doors and her heart and taught her the many ways of Witchcraft.
They have remained friends throughout the years and to this day have a spiritual connection.

L. Cabot is known as the "Official Witch of Salem," an ordained High Priestess descended from Celtic ancestry. Having practiced Witchcraft for over forty years, she founded the Cabot Tradition of the Science of Witchcraft and the Witches' League for Public Awareness (WLPA), an anti-defamation organization aimed at correcting the many misconceptions about Witchcraft.

Laurie opened the first Witch shop in America, Crow Haven Corner, which is now owned and operated by Lorelie.

Laurie Cabot is the owner of The Cat, The Crow, and The Crown, a magical Witch's cottage filled with the wonder and mystery of the old ways, in Salem, Massachusetts.      "A wiccaning is a ceremony, to present the infant to the God and Goddess for protection.
    The child is not necessarily expected to chose a Pagan path for themselves as they grow older."

  • Handfasting's
     "An ancient Celtic wedding ritual in which the bride's and groom's hands are tied together —hence the phrase "tying the knot"
    Today, handfasting can be done with loose wraps and knots to signify that it is only for a year and a day. During this time, the couple would live together as a married couple. After the year and day were over, the couple would then choose to either part ways or make it permanent.
    If they choose to make it permanent, they would then once again have a ceremony similar to the first with the exception of the wraps and knots being done tight
